British Darts Organisation (BDO)
The Fire Kills campaign and the British Darts Organisation (BDO) have joined forces to help prevent fires in homes across the nation. Through its sponsorship of the BDO International Grand Prix, the Fire Kills campaign is hoping that players and fans will boost their fire safety knowledge.
Fire Kills’ sponsorship means that it will be present at 5 events organised by the BDO (from June to September) where audiences will be offered the opportunity to sign up for a free Home Fire Risk Check.
The BDO International Grand Prix will be aired on Setanta Sports 1.

No Smoking Day
The No Smoking Day campaign is organised by a
charity of the same name run by four full-time
staff. The charity is supported by a coalition of
governmental and voluntary sector organisations with
an interest in health; it manages the campaign
alongside steering groups and partner organisations
right across the United Kingdom.
The No Smoking Day campaign helps smokers who want
to quit by creating a supportive environment for
them, and by highlighting the many sources of help
and advice available.
Help the Aged
Help the Aged is very pleased to be supporting such relevant and ultimately lifesaving campaigns. Senior safety is of the utmost importance and we're keen that older people are made aware that fire kills. On average, over half of all fatalities in accidental household fires each year occur among the over 60s, and as a Partner in Fire Prevention, it's very important to us that we work with the Government to bring these figures down.
Wise Up
The only service of its kind, Wise-Up™ was set up in 2004 for organisations wishing to communicate ‘public service information’ to those living in social housing via resident newsletters sent out by UK Local Authorities and Housing Associations.
Their quarterly publications reach almost 5 million homes. Wise-Up supports the Fire Kills campaign by conveying important fire safety messages to people living in the social housing sector.
